Extra Usage Terms

These terms are part of our Terms of Service and apply only if your account owner turns on Extra usage.

1. Optional and owner-controlled.Extra usage is off unless the account owner turns it on in Plan & billing on the web. Only the account owner can turn it on, change the monthly limit, or turn it off.

2. Rate.Your plan includes a monthly allowance (the “item allotment” in Terms §5, shown as monthly credits on our pricing page). With Extra usage on, usage past that allowance is charged at your plan’s own rate: each additional 10% of the allowance costs 10% of your plan’s standard list monthly price, prorated to the exact amount used, plus applicable taxes. The rate for your plan is shown before you turn Extra usage on.

3. Discounts. Founder, promotional, referral and legacy pricing apply to your plan price only. Extra usage is charged at the standard list rate for your plan even when your plan price is discounted, unless we agree a different Extra usage rate with you in writing. Any such rate is shown to you before you turn Extra usage on.

4. Limits.Extra usage in a monthly usage cycle will not cost more than the lower of (a) the monthly limit the account owner sets and (b) your plan’s monthly cap, which is the difference between your plan’s list price and the next published plan’s list price, or $250 on the Multi plan. If (b) is reached before (a), you may keep using the Service for the rest of that cycle at no further charge, up to the next published plan’s monthly allowance (on the Multi plan, up to 150% of your plan’s monthly allowance). When the monthly limit in (a) is reached, or that no-charge allowance is used up, AI-powered features pause as described in Terms §5 until the cycle resets or the account owner raises the limit.

5. Whose usage counts. All usage under your account counts, including usage by your team members and by features you have connected. Bulk imports and backfills of older material do not use Extra usage; they wait for your allowance to reset.

6. Billing. On a monthly plan, Extra usage for a cycle is added to your next subscription invoice. On an annual plan, it is billed on a separate invoice at the end of each monthly usage cycle. In both cases you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on file. If a payment for Extra usage fails, Extra usage switches off until the balance is paid.

7. Plan changes and cancellation.If you move up to a higher plan during a cycle, we do not charge that cycle’s Extra usage. If you cancel, Extra usage already used is billed on your final invoice.

8. Turning it off. You can turn Extra usage off at any time. New Extra usage stops immediately; usage already used in the current cycle is billed.

9. Notices.We email the account owner when Extra usage starts in a cycle, at 80% of the monthly limit, when the limit is reached, and with the cycle’s total when the cycle ends. The running total for the current cycle is shown in Plan & billing on the web.

10. Errors and refunds. Extra usage charges are non-refundable, except that we will credit or refund any charge caused by a metering error on our side, a duplicate charge, or a request that failed. Tell us within 60 days of the invoice at josh@supervisrapp.com. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. While a dispute is open, Extra usage is switched off.

11. Changes.We may change the Extra usage rate or these terms on at least 30 days’ notice by email. A change never applies to usage before its effective date, and you may turn Extra usage off at any time.

12. Relationship to the Terms. For an account with Extra usage on, these terms control over the statement in Terms §5 that going over your allotment never triggers a charge. Everything else in the Terms of Service, and for Founding 15 members the Founding 15 Beta Agreement, still applies.
